What tools can I use for article screening?

Answer

When conducting a review that requires article screening, there is software out there that can make the task easier. These tools facilitate anonymous screening and, in some cases, keep track of the number of articles needed for full-text review, making it easier to complete your PRISMA diagram.

McGill has an institutional license to Covidence. With this license, you can access all of Covidence's features free of charge. For more information on McGill's license and setting up your account, click here.

There are free tools, such as Rayyan and Revman, that can also help with screening and other aspects of the systematic review process. Most of these tools have the same functions and your choice will come down to which interface you and your team prefer.
