The OverDrive bookshelf has a filter on it. Your Bookshelf may have been filtered by one format (i.e. eBooks), and the recently downloaded book is another format (i.e. Audiobooks). To remove the filter, open the app tap and go to the Bookshelf. At the top of Bookshelf, tap All titles. All the OverDrive items that have been downloaded will display.
