Click the red button that says EndNote for PC here (the zip file contains the EndNote executable file and the text file which provides the Product Key)

Log in with your McGill username and password.

Click OK to save the zip file, then open it once the download is finished.

Click the Extract to or Extract all files link to run the Extraction Wizard (extraction steps may differ based on your OS and what software you are using, e.g. WinRar or WinZip).

When the compressed folder has been extracted, go to the location where they have been saved (which should open automatically for you).

Double-click on the .exe file to run the software installation.

When prompted to enter the Product Key, go back to the location where the compressed folder has been extracted and click on the text file with "product key" in the title. Copy the product key from there, then paste it (Ctrl V) into the EndNote Setup step requesting it
