1) Select the articles you would like to export to EndNote by clicking the numbered boxes. For example, three references have been selected below:

2) In the upper tool bar, click on "Export", tick "EndNote (RIS)" and then "Export”.

3) Depending on the browser and operating system you use, you might need to follow different instructions. Normally, the file will either download automatically, in which case, you have to find it and click on it to automatically open in EndNote, or a pop-up window will open asking you what you want to do with the file, in which case, select "Open with", then "EndNote" in the drop-down menu. To find the downloads:

  1. HI, How can I export over 2000 citations from Scopus? Can I do multiple exports of 2000 each to cover all search (total over 8000)? thanks Agata Hi Agata, To export more than 2,000 citations in Scopus, you have to select all citations, then click on the drop down arrow next to "export" to select the format. A pop-up window will appear, asking you which information you want to export. Select all that apply and then click "export". On the next window, select CSV, then click "export". You will receive an email from Scopus once it is available for download. Then you'll need to import that file into EndNote. Please be aware that you can import a maximum of 20,000 results at a time. If you have more, than you'll have to do multiple exports.

  2. Hi! About Agata's question... Once I have this csv file, how can I import it to Endonote? Is there anyway to convert it to another extension, like RIS or something? Thanks in advance. Hi Maria, Clarivate published a guide on how to import tab-delimited files into EndNote. You'll have to do a bit of work with your CSV file to make it compatible with the tab-delimited import filter. You can find more info here: https://support.clarivate.com/Endnote/s/article/EndNote-Creating-a-Tab-Delimited-Import-Format?language=en_US.

  3. My total references are 36597, in the first go I downloaded 20,000 (Max Range), however, there is no option to download references from 20001-36597 at once. The popup window says you "can download from 1- 20000 only" --------- Hi Zahid, Unfortunately, you can only import up to 20,000 results in Scopus. I would suggest that you refine your search so that you have fewer results.
