You do not need to be signed in to use WorldCat Discovery search bar, it is fully operational.

Off-campus Access:

If you are off-campus and try to link out to a resource that requires McGill Authentication, you will be prompted to enter your McGill ID and password to access the resource using EZproxy. You only have to do this once per session.

To avoid having to sign-in upon clicking a resource, click on the Library Links dropdown in the top right corner and select "remote login". This will prompt you to log in using your McGill ID and password, and should prevent you having to do so again during your library session.

Your Library Account:

To access your Library Account and see past and current items you have borrowed (excluding e-resources), click on the Library Links dropdown in the top right corner and select "My Library Account." This will take you in to our classic catalogue, where you will be prompted to sign in using your McGill ID and password.
