Within Advanced Search, options to limit your search are available at the bottom of the screen, under the "Search Tools" label. The available search tools depend on what content you are searching: a single database, multiple databases, WorldCat, and so forth.

You can only search two databases (WorldCat and WorldCat.org), the limiters for those two databases appear in the following order:

  • Peer review
  • Group related editions
  • Format (as represented in WorldCat.org)
  • Year
  • Location

Other search options are available through the "Search Index" dropdown menus. Those options allow you to search, for example, for a particular place of publication, or for a resource in a particular language.
