Short answer: nope!

Long answer: Some e-book collections have a "borrowing" system, but it's not really borrowing in the way that you borrow books from the library. In the e-book universe, the term "borrowing" can be used describe a time-limited download system. Users can download books, but they expire after a certain time period. After the time limit has passed, the book can no longer be accessed. This happens automatically, you don't have to do anything, nor do you have to return the book.

In some collections, you have the ability to "return" a book early. This basically makes the downloaded book expire early, so that you can download another book in it's place. However, the file doesn't actually get sent back to the collection!
