To remove one duplicate reference at a time:

  1. Under References , choose Find duplicates
  2. To edit specifications for de-duplication, go to File > Preferences > Duplicates
  3. Choose Keep this record to eliminate one of the duplicate records

To remove all duplicate references:

  1. Under References , choose Find duplicates
  2. To edit specifications for de-duplication, go to File > Preferences > Duplicates
  3. Click Cancel
  4. The duplicate copies are highlighted in grey
  5. Click on one
  6. all duplicated copies will be highlighted in blue
  7. Drag & drop to Trash
