Search Bloomberg (available in the Humanites/McLennan Library, 3rd floor (Room M3-53B)). Type the stock's ticker symbol, then press the EQUITY key and then press GO. Choose Historical Prices.

Also try In Datastream Advance (available in the Humanites/McLennan Library, 3rd floor (Room M3-53B)). See our quick video on how to use Datastream.

Go to WRDS (personal registration required) and select CRSP.

For Canadian companies, search the online historical newspaper archives of the Globe and Mail for prices on particular days. Browse by day and scan the business pages.

For Canadian companies see the monthly print publications Toronto Stock Exchange Review (1946-2005) and Monthly Review (Bourse de Montreal/Montreal Stock Exchange) held by the Humanites and Social Sciences / McLennan Library. All provide monthly stock price ranges.

Additionally, Google Finance often has basic historical company stock information.
