Q. How do I find bank rates, including mortgage rates?

For Canadian rates:

• Bank of Canada website (interest rates)
• Statistics Canada 
  •   Detailed rates in:
    • CANSIM table 027-0015
    • CANSIM table 176-0043 (note: click 'add/remove' data to retrieve additional variables/year coverage)

For US rates:

• WRDS --> select Federal Reserve Bank Reports (enter your McGill email to receive a temporary password). 

Additional countries:

• Use the Datastream terminal in the Humanities/McLennan Library, 3rd floor (Room M3-53B) and search the Interest Rates section .
