Q. How do I find bond ratings for a particular company?

Start with the Mergent Bondviewer (note: works only in Internet Explorer).

•  WRDS-->Click on Compustat-->Ratings Xpress-->Entity Ratings. Look up company codes and submit query.
• Bloomberg, available on the 3rd floor (Room M3-53B) of the Humanities/McLennan Library.Type the ticker symbol of the company you want, hit the yellow CORP key, then type CRPR and hit GO. You can find historical bond ratings for particular issues.
